The TUFLOC High Security hinged padlock is intended for general military use where a high degree of physical security is required shipboard in limited space.
The TUFLOC hinged padlock allows for versatile mounting for inward, outward, double swinging, sliding, and roll up doors.
It provides protection against forced and surreptitious entry.
The TUFLOC is only authorized by the U.S. Navy and U.S. Coast Guard, and is not authorized for use at shore based AA&E storage facilities.
The United States Navy Conventional AA&E physical security policy manual
(OPNAVINST 5530.13D)
states the TUFLOC is an approved locking device for AA&E "for shipboard use only."
The TUFLOC padlocks should not be keyed alike.
You MUST be sure to acquire the 60 series TUFLOC padlocks as they are military grade and keyed individually.
