GSA approved Class 5 weapons containers are authorized for storage of small amounts of Risk Category II, III, and IV Arms, Ammunition, and Explosives (AA&E).
They are manufactured in accordance with Federal Specification
AA-C-2859.
There is also a Class 5-W drawer-type weapons container approved and labeled specifically for weapons storage in accordance with Federal Specification

GSA approved weapons containers are not approved for storage of classified information.
All new GSA approved weapons containers must use an

If the existing UL 768, Group 1 lock fails, or requires replacement, it must be replaced with a lock meeting FF-L-2937.
These containers are available with either a pullout rifle cart, with a capacity of 32 rifles, or weapon drawers having dividers for storage of up to 360 weapons.
