Alternative Fuel Vehicles and AFV Infrastructure
We have experience with alternative fuel vehicles and infrastructure projects including biodiesel, electric, ethanol, hybrids, hydrogen, and compressed natural gas. We provide technical support to the Navy and Marine Corps to field demonstrate new and innovative technologies that promise to improve transportation efficiency, reduce costs, and promote sustainable transportation practices. Our services include development of test plans to assist with technology validation efforts and project specifications to support installation of new infrastructures.
Base Support Vehicles & Equipment (BSVE)
EXWC BSVE within PWBL has been designated by NAVFAC Headquarters BSVE as the Central Point of Contact for Navy’s Civil Engineering Support Equipment (CESE) Procurement and Civil Engineering Equipment Overhaul (CEEO) Programs. Our services include commercial acquisition, all USN assignment and registration, and License Plate Program management for OPN and NWCF activities worldwide. We provide “cradle to grave” asset management and procurement for the PWBL BSVE and ensure all reporting requirements are provided for validation of inventory and fiscal accountability. Procurements range from small vehicles/equipment all the way through to locomotives
