Captain Paul C. Chan

Captain Paul C. Chan currently serves as the Executive Officer for the Naval Facilities Engineering and Expeditionary Warfare Center (NAVFAC EXWC)

Captain Chan is a native of Michigan.  He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Michigan Technological University, and he received his commission through Officer Candidate School in Florida. He holds a Master of Science degree in Coastal Engineering from University of Florida, a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of New Orleans, and a Cyber Security Fundamental Certificate from the Naval Post-Graduate School. 

His other assignments have included: Executive Officer at NAVFAC Far East; Executive Officer at NAVFAC Marianas; Officer-In Charge of Construction Marine Corps Marianas (OICC MCM); Naval Base Ventura County; Commander U.S.  Naval Forces Central / Commander 5th Fleet in Bahrain; OPNAV N46; Naval Construction Training Center Port Hueneme; Taji Resident Officer In Charge of Construction in Iraq; NAS Joint Reserve Base in post-Katrina New Orleans; Commander Naval Forces Europe, London, U.K.; and Naval Mobile Construction Battalion SEVENTY-FOUR.   

Captain Chan's awards include the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, and Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal.  He is a registered Professional Engineer, a Certified Energy Manager, a member of the Defense Acquisition Corps, and a Seabee Combat Warfare Officer.
