“The continuation of this strategic partnership is vital as we continue to push for innovative solutions the Department of Navy’s complex problems with ocean infrastructure. This modification will ensure continued support for the Navy and its customers for years to come,” said EXWC Contracting Officer Anthony Gonzales.
The work to be performed includes engineering, logistics, facilities, vessels, environmental planning, and equipment necessary for NAVFAC EXWC to support its missions. The maximum dollar value, including the base period is $129,000,000. The term of this contract is not to exceed 60 months with a six-month option. Work will be performed in Port Hueneme, California, as well as at contractor and other government locations, and is expected to be completed by May 2028. This contract will enable NAVFAC EXWC’s Ocean Infrastructure Program to contribute to a new era by providing innovative technologies and methodologies as well as enhance the effectiveness of underwater operations conducted by the Department of the Navy and others.
Funding for this requirement will be primarily funded by research, development, test and evaluation funds. Some requirements may also be funded with operation and maintenance, or other procurement funds.
